The Brain Profile I completed with Wendy was super efficient and informative. The questions were very precise, and it didn’t take long before I had the full results. She explained the individual images with L1, L2, R2, and R1 really well and helped me understand what they meant for me personally. It was very helpful in identifying a suitable career path or at least the direction that suits me best. Overall: quick, informative, and helpful. Thank you, Wendy!

We completed a brain profile for our son with Wendy, and the experience was valuable and insightful. Wendy’s warm, professional manner immediately put us—and our son—at ease. The profile was accurate and gave us valuable insights into how he learns, processes information, and how we can best support him both at home and at school. It was also a powerful experience for our son—Wendy helped him understand his own strengths and challenges which boosted his confidence and gave him a sense of ownership over his learning. We’re so grateful for Wendy’s expertise and efficiency—it’s been an invaluable step in his educational journey.

My son, age 9 has difficulty with attention at school, body balance and core strength. Getting a brain profile done with Wendy helped me find ways in which I could engage him to help improve his attention span and give him activities to build his core strength. I adopted a different approach to teaching him, since he is very social and gets interested when people are involved in the learning process. Wendy’s personable approach made it easy for my son to share his struggles and strengths. I highly recommend doing a brain profile with Wendy!

Wendy did a Brain Profile for my son with ADHD. From the beginning, she was professional and patient. She made sure I felt supported every step of the way and was always available to answer questions during and after. The profile gave me a deeper understanding of how my son thinks and learns, and it helped me appreciate his natural preferences and strengths. We shared the profile with him and now he understands how his brain works, what helps him learn best, and how he can make his daily life and learning journey a little easier. I would highly recommend this to any parent who wants to better understand and support their child.

The NBI® Brain Profile helps you understand how you process information, communicate, and solve problems. If you’re often lost in your own thoughts, this tool can help you clarify how your mind works—and how to use that insight in daily life.
The NBI doesn’t simplify who you are—it reveals the depth of your thinking style. Whether you’re analytical, emotional, spontaneous, or structured
The NBI Assessment is a 30-question diagnostic survey that indicates your thinking preferences. Each question has 4 options which need to be ranked in order of your thinking preference.
Your practitioner will do a pre-profile consultation to get to know you better and to understand your needs and expectations of the profile.
You will then be emailed a link whichl allows you access to the NBI profile selected. (For young children, the profiler will assist with the completion of the assessment)
Once the questionnaire is complete, the profile results will be emailed to your Brain Profile Practitioner, who will analyse the results and create a written report with insight and recommendations.
Different needs require different NBI profiles. You may want to do a family of adults and children including the NBI parenting style profile. Or you may want to complete an adult profile with a supplementary NBI Relationships or NBI Spirituality profile. Each profile set is different. It is best to contact us to find out more about our packages
Unlike traditional psychometric tests that focus on measuring fixed traits like intelligence or personality, the NBI® is rooted in didactic principles—the science of learning. It’s not just about assessment, but about developing thinking skills.
The NBI helps individuals understand their whole brain thinking preferences and apply this knowledge to grow beyond their comfort zones. The ultimate goal is to support both children and adults in becoming more adaptable, creative, and effective in learning, work, and relationships.
After nearly 30 years of extensive international research into left and right brain functions, Dr. Kobus Neethling developed the NBI® Adult Profile under the research guidance of Dr. Paul Torrance at the University of Georgia, USA. Since then, the NBI® has grown to include a wide range of whole brain instruments designed for children, students, educators, athletes, and professionals in the business world.
